1. Mileage
Realtors: your car is a big deduction and an easy one to lose.
QBO tracks mileage in the mobile app. Turn on auto-tracking, then once a week swipe each trip business or personal and add a purpose — showing, closing, listing appointment.
Do it weekly. A trip logged the day it happened beats one reconstructed in March.
2. Momentum
We’ve gotten intentional online — more posts, a real schedule, and a new marketing CRM so leads land somewhere instead of disappearing.
Customer acquisition doesn’t take care of itself. Referrals come in, the pipeline feels handled, and complacency stays invisible until it’s expensive.
We’re focused on building a reliable, monthly stream of leads that fit our ICP. This new strategy feels like a step in the right direction.
3. Multiples
Compare what a customer is worth to what it costs to get one.
Lifetime value is what a typical client pays you over the relationship. Acquisition cost is marketing spend divided by new clients.
Aim for lifetime value at three times acquisition cost. Narrower than that and you’re buying growth at a price that gets thin fast.
